Human resources director appointed in Saco
Hunter Cox is the new Director of Human Resources for the city of Saco.

His responsibilities will include overseeing all functions of the department, including recruitment, compliance, employee relations, and organizational development for the workforce of the city of more than 100 seasonal employees and over 200 full-time employees.
Cox has certifications as a Professional in Human Resources from the HR Certification Institute and as a Senior Certified Professional from the Society for Human Resource Management. For the past two years, he has been the Human Resources Director for the Town of Buxton, where he established its human resources department from the ground up. He attended Southern Utah University where he earned a master’s degree in public administration and South Texas College of Law where he earned a Juris Doctorate degree.
John Bohenko, administrator of the city, expressed his thrill in welcoming Cox to the leadership team. Bohenko said that he is certain that Cox will be able to maintain the well-organized operations of the city given his education, experience, and forward-thinking approach.
Cox expressed his honor in joining the city as its Human Resources Director. He said that he is excited to contribute to its strong legacy of public service and continue to foster a culture in the workplace which is rooted in innovation, employee excellence, and collaboration.
