New coordinators named in Saco fire department

The Saco Fire Department has named three new coordinators who will guide programs on fire training, community education, field training, risk reduction, and EMS training.

Such new appointments may call for a need for business card printing services.

Delani Goeben is the new coordinator for community risk reduction and education. In this role, she will create better connections among the community from general public education to risk reduction. Goeben said that there is data to develop effective programs on mitigation, risk reduction, and connecting stakeholders to create a community that will be more resilient.

Tyler Vessy is the new field and EMS coordinator. In this role he will improve the Field Training Officer program and provide relevant training for the department’s providers. Vessey has many certifications that qualify him for this role, including the EMS Field Training Basic license and a Paramedic license.

Cameron Stephenson has been with the Saco Fire Department for eight years and will be the new fire training coordinator. He has participated in fire safety instruction and training programs across the country and will provide training to firefighters while also developing existing instructors and those in the future. Stephenson said that this position is important in ensuring that those in the department are sufficiently trained to be able to respond to any hazard that could be encountered in the community.
