Van Gogh art tour scheduled
Tomorrow, The Van Gogh Museum-Amsterdam: Livestream Art Tour Program will be presented and hosted by Robert Kelleman ofWashington DC History and Culture.
Bethesda residents are encouraged to attend the virtual event and learn more about the history of great artists from a local expert.
The online tour of Museum located in the Dutch capital Amsterdam will display the world’s most comprehensive collection of the artist’s drawings and paintings. Works by other artists such as Monet, Toulouse-Lautrec, and Gauguin will also be featured.
The host, Robert Kelleman, is the founder and director of the DC History and Culture program. It is a non-profit organization open to the community focusing on bringing people together for the opportunity to learn more about culture and history within Washington DC, surrounding communities such as Bethesda and across the world.
Poster printing is often ordered from local print shops to promote events of this type. The posters can be placed in museums, art galleries and other relevant areas to draw attention and increase attendance.
The discussion will include comparison to other well-known works and explore the intricacies of Van Gogh’s life along with his legacy.
