Pickleball tournament to support good cause in Bethesda

A pickleball tournament will be coming to Bethesda this May, allowing the area’s top players to show off their skills for a good cause.

The Dinks for a Cure pickleball tournament, which will combine competitive fun with a fundraiser in support of Blood Cancer United, is opening online registration to singles, doubles, and mixed doubles players who wish to wipe down their paddles and hit the court. The tournament will provide a setting where players can connect and help fund cancer research and patient support efforts.

Spectators are welcome to attend and support friends and family members who are participating. In addition to pickleball matches, the evening will include raffle prizes, food and beverages, and the chance to connect with other members of the Bethesda community. Organizers can use flyer printing as a cost-effective marketing tool that generates high volumes of impressions when placed in busy parts of town.

Prizes for the raffle include a Fitness & Wellness Basket, a family photography session, local dining gift cards, and a Wine and Entertainment basket. The tournament will start with a review of the rules with a local pickleball pro before kicking off the festivities.

The Congressional Country Club in Bethesda will be hosting the fundraising pickleball tournament on Friday, May 8, starting at 7:00 PM. Pickleball players registration includes dinner and a drink and costs $135 per person.
