Arts festival scheduled in Bethesda
A popular annual event is returning to Bethesda.
The 2025 Bethesda Fine Arts Festival will feature outstanding artworks by over 100 of the best artists in the nation, as well as participation by local restaurants. Live entertainment is also on the schedule.
The artwork on display will include jewelry, photography, sculpture, oil painting, watercolor, ceramics, textile work, printmaking, mixed media, fiber and clothing, furniture, and much more.
Entertainers and musicians coming to the festival on the first day are Sara Jones, a jazz pianist and vocalist; award-winning singer/songwriter Jay Byrd; and The Lovejoy Group, a blues and jazz band.
The second day brings music by Andrew O’Day, an acoustic guitarist known for his soulful interpretation of classic R&B; Dunia & Aram, who have been musical partners for decades and are now interested in soul and indie ska with touches of jazz; and country artist Melissa Quinn Fox. When they create complex events like this, organizers will often use flyer printing to create a handout for attendees with a list of vendors and schedule of performances.
The Woodmont Triangle area is the festival location, which is scheduled for May 10, from 10.00 am until 6.00 pm, and May 11, from 10.00 am until 5.00 pm. There is no admission charge, and attendees can find parking in a public parking garage located on Auburn Avenue. The event will go on in any weather.
