The Chesapeake Bay Blues Festival is bringing fans in Annapolis two days of jazzy blues music, hosted along with a crafter village, food vendors, and kid-friendly activities.
This concert endorses charity organizations and will feature record hits on Saturday from famous bands like Wayne Baker Brooks, The Spinners, Southern Avenue, CBBF, and more. The Chesapeake Bay Blues Festival will have a different line-up on Sunday with performances by Buddy Guy, Christone Ingram, and Vanessa Collier.
The concert stage comes with Jumbotron, a generous helping of food and drink, a beach area, and lawn seating. Patrons are asked to bring their own blankets, sunscreen, sunglasses, and tents. No cameras or any video recording devices are allowed. Free parking is available at the Park and Ride, but passengers arriving on boats cannot dock too close to the marina.
Patrons who want to get closer to the blues can buy VIP tickets to cover a parking pass, one meal per person, early access to the concert hall, beverage refills (for beer, wine, or soda), and bathrooms. As for general admission, patrons can get a discount on the Weekend Pass for Saturday and Sunday. Children 12 or under accompanied by an adult will receive free tickets.
The festival is currently set to start on May 16 at 10:30 am once the gates open, although in light of COVID-19 prevention measures it would be wise to keep checking for updates. Banner printing is suitable for vendors who sell their goods at these events.
