A holiday event that boasts a historical flavor will be on offer in Annapolis this December, and it's being presented by a local not for profit organization.
Historic Annapolis Inc. will provide the public with a chance to take a step back in time when they attend its "Colonial Yuletide” celebration. It will be held in the afternoon, and there will be activities on its agenda that any age can enjoy.
Hogshead Trades Museum and William Paca House both have activities planned, and there will be music, storytelling, and other traditions. Admission tickets include entry to both venues, and guided tours, a visit with Santa, live entertainment, crafting stations, food and beverages, and an opportunity to meet reenactors are all on the agenda.
Neither venue is accessible to those who require a mobility device, but disabled persons will be able to participate in limited parts of the program via the Paca House driveway.
Organizers of holiday themed events that have a historical theme can count on local banner printing companies to supply them with decor and other custom materials. They can work with most budgets and will have a variety of options available.
A Colonial Yuletide will be bringing historical themed fun to Annapolis on December 6. Tickets can be purchased ahead of time through the Visit Annapolis website, and they start at $15.00, with a discount available for children and serving military members.
