Another holiday season is on the way, and thanks to an upcoming Annapolis workshop, its residents will be able to decorate their home with fresh floral arrangements.
Federated Garden Clubs of Maryland will be presenting its Holiday Magic in Bloom class, and The Atreeum at Soaring Timbers will be the venue for the morning. Mike Burch from Potomac Floral Design will share his skills and knowledge during an in-person session.
Burch will teach all the steps of preparing a festive floral arrangement with a winter holiday theme. It may be helpful to both the beginner and those who already have some experience. At the end of the class, al arrangements crafted will be raffled off, and tickets for this can be purchased, with only cash being accepted. A pop-up market manned by the design shop will also be on site, accepting both cash and cards.
With the winter holidays being synonymous with parties and other special events, they may call for festive decor. A class can teach how to prepare a variety of items, and learning materials for a seasonal session can be ordered from Print shops.
This chance for Annapolis to learn how to create floral arrangements they can be proud to display is scheduled to begin at 9:30 am on Thursday, November 5. Tickets start at $44.52.
