Annapolis venue offers Halloween fun

Kids and Halloween often go hand in hand, and a family-friendly celebration will add even more fun to the season for Annapolis families.

The annual Pumpkin Walk is set to make its return to the city for another year, and it will be on offer at Hammond-Harwood House Museum. It will take place in late October, and it will be filled with interactive, spooky fun.

The guests at the celebration will be offered tours of the venue, and these include an introduction to some of the superstitions that were common during colonial times. The adults can admire the architecture, and everyone is encouraged to wear a costume. A selfie station will be set up, and the “big people” in the crowd will have the chance to purchase a glass of beer or wine. The kids can enjoy snacks, craft activities, and playing games, and a costume parade is also in the works. Storyteller and teacher Frolic the Fox will drop by, and each ticket, which will grant entry for one family, is priced at $25.00. A discount is available to museum members.

When preparing for a Halloween celebration, organizers may choose to order custom designed decor from local banner printing companies. They can provide both single-use and reusable options at a variety of price points.

Harmond-Harwood House Museum will be opening its doors for this spoken celebration scheduled for Friday, October 24th. It will start at 4:00 pm.
