Annapolis gets cracking with crab feast fundraiser
The Annapolis chapter of the Rotary Club engages in community service projects year round, and it will soon be rolling out the welcome mat for one of its most popular annual events.
For the past eight decades, the Club has welcomed one and all for its annual Crab Feast, and it will return to help kick off August. One of its signature fundraisers, the proceeds from the evening will be passed along to a variety of locally based not-for-profit organizations.
The freshly cooked crab will be served in all-you-can-eat style, and the landlubbers in the crowd will have menu options as well. Beer, wine, and soft drinks will be flowing, and anyone with a sweet tooth can treat themselves at the bake sale. A raffle draw with cash prizes as well as a bushel of crabs will add even more excitement to the day.
When organizing a fundraiser, planners will want to bring their activity at or under budget. A banner printing company can help by preparing economically priced decor that may be reused in subsequent years.
The Rotary Club of Annapolis will be serving up its annual seafood feast on Friday, August 1. The Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium will be the venue for all the fun. It will run from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm and early bird pricing of $90 for adults and $30 for kids is available until June 15.
