An Annapolis activity will offer a tasty way to raise awareness next month.
The Chesapeake Catfish Cook-Off will show off the talents of local chefs while raising funds in support of the programming on offer at the Annapolis Maritime Museum & Park. It will be four hours of fishing fun, and tickets are $50 each.
The organizers of the event have invited some of the region’s top chefs to take part and they will be serving up dishes that make use of blue catfish, which is an invasive species. Oysters, sides, and an assortment of beverages will be on offer as well. Live music will keep the energy high, and everyone can sit in on fish cutting and cooking demonstrations. There will also be waterfront activities, and everyone is invited to round up the whole family, pack up some portable seating, and head to 7300 Edgewood Road to join in the fun.
A festival where food will be served can call for specialized Corporate Gifts including aprons printed with a logo, take-home Boxes, tableware, booth décor, and other materials prepared by a printing services company.
The Chesapeake Catfish Cook-Off will provide a tasty way to learn about the issue of invasive catfish and what is being done to address the problem on Saturday, May 16. It will kick off at 12:00 noon.
