Online workshop to help mothers in Lowell

April Quast Art and Wellness will hold Vanquishing Teen Anxiety, a three-day virtual workshop in August, for Lowell mothers to learn about techniques to help empower their teenage daughters.

April Quast Art and Wellness is headed by April Quest, an art teacher and yoga instructor who provides art-related, creative activities. The anxiety workshop in August will help prepare women to help their teenage daughters work through anxiety and gain self-confidence. The workshop aims to equip mothers with the tools necessary to strengthen their bond with their daughters and guide them. As such, the class is designed for mothers to complete alone and then share it with their daughters in their own time.

The first day of class will begin with teaching attendees how to unwind and embrace themselves as they are. April will guide the women through a restorative yoga session, a walk, and a doodling session. The second day will teach creative play techniques and how play can help teach new ideas and encourage self-growth. The third day will explore how one’s personal powers can influence how they take on life’s challenges.

Workshops like this, even if hosted virtually, are often advertised through Flyers, which can be printed in bulk at local businesses specializing in flyer printing.

The free workshop is scheduled for August 15 through August 17 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm over Zoom.
