Happy Together Tour 2020 is the eleventh such tour put together by the classic group The Turtles. The band first got together in Los Angeles in 1965, and broke into the mainstream with their cover version of Bob Dylan's hit, “It Ain't Me Babe.” They released the biggest hit of their career, “Happy Together,” in 1967, which has been heard in several films.
The Turtles created their first “Happy Together” tour in 1984, and have brought it back several times, usually with different bands each time. The current tour includes The Cowsills; The Association; Chuck Negron (from Three Dog Night); and Mark Lindsay (of Paul Revere and the Raiders).
A review of a Happy Together performance says the show:
“. . was a joy from the moment it started . . . [until the] finale. All of the acts were represented by some of the original members and the songs . . . were . . . favorites . . . This wasn't nostalgia...this was boarding a full power time machine into the great days of pop music.”
At present, the Happy Together Tour is scheduled to perform at the Lowell Memorial Auditorium at 7.00 pm on June 14. Interested parties should check to make sure there are no schedule changes. Poster printing provides effective advertising for events like this.
