The Salem Five bank recently awarded Jackie Connolly of Lowell, and her family, a $2,000 gift card to the Container Store and a consultation with professional organizer Sarah Buckwalter.
The Connollys were the grand prize winner of the bank’s ‘Uncomplicate My Home’ contest.
To enter the contest, people had to submit videos or photos demonstrating the need for help with stripping down their disorganized and cluttered homes. An image Connolly submitted showed that one of her closets was filled with accessories, home goods, and clothes, indicating that she and her husband, who are new parents, were running out of space.
Martha Acworth, Chief Marketing Officer of Salem Five, said that instead of taking the time to organize and declutter, people tend to just hide things in closets or elsewhere. The bank, he said, was pleased to help the new working mother get rid of clutter.
This contest is part of the ‘Uncomplicate Me’ series of events, which the bank is offering to help busy consumers help with organization, personal style, and cooking. MasterChef’s Anna Rossi, personal stylist Lindsey Foley, and lifestyle expert Buckwalter have teamed up with bank to host interactive demonstrations and workshops.
Flyer printing companies can be hired to explain more about events like this. In the bank’s case, it Forms part of its new branding platform of ‘Let’s Uncomplicate Money’
