Peter Lally, the founder of Spectacle Management, has partnered with Chris Dic and John Chemaly (from Trinity EMS) to form the Lowell Management Group in a bid to provide top-of-the-line facility management to public assembly facilities such as the Lowell Auditorium.
The Lowell Management Group has a lot of plans to revitalize the auditorium, which will include enhanced graphic design to try and improve attendance at the auditorium’s numerous functions.
Lally says:
"I've always had a real passion for the building and Lowell. I loved my time there. I loved the shows we did there. We're going to make a case, and give it a shot.
“We had a great run with Mill City Management, and we think we can bring some great things to the auditorium.”
Rather than renew its contract with the former managers of the auditorium, the city of Lowell has chosen to look for new management in order to boost the level of activity in the once popular, and historic venue.
Rodney Elliott, the City’s Councilor, admits that the venue is currently not fulfilling its full potential, and the reasons for this are not obvious.
