This February, Lowell parents should note that Pottery Mill will be holding the Kids’ Clay Hand-Building Workshop for any creative kids interested in pottery crafting.
Pottery Mill Kids is a program by Pottery Mill, LLC, which is a community clay studio and workspace in Lowell. The studio offers a welcoming, creative space for anyone wishing to explore the artistic medium of clay. A variety of workshops and classes are held at the studio for a wide range of students, and the kids’ clay workshop is one such class.
The class is open to all projects that students wish to work on, although the instructors will have an activity planned for those who want to participate. The planned activity of the class will be hand-building a clay flower vase. Participants will also be able to practice their glazing and painting skills, and customize their work using a variety of colors offered by the studio. Parents and guardians are welcome to attend with their children, and any child under the age of 7 must have a guardian with them.
Craft workshops are often advertised through the advertising method of flyer printing and distribution in relevant locations that are more likely to receive foot traffic.
The clay workshop is scheduled for February 3 from 10:30am to 12:30pm. Pottery Mill is located at 325 Chelmsford Street, and the class fee is $37.
