M2D2 will hold the Capstone Info Session in Lowell this August to reach out to professionals interested in becoming project sponsors for the 2023-2024 academic year.
This August, M2D2 in collaboration with UMass Biomedical Engineering will hold the Capstone Info Session for the upcoming Biomedical Engineering Capstone Project to encourage biomedical professionals and companies to become project sponsors for the Capstone students. M2D2 is the Massachusetts Medical Device Development Center that utilizes the business, clinical, and engineering resources of the UMass campus to provide fee-based services in product prototyping, business planning, and clinical pathway assistance.
During the info session, potential sponsors will learn about the capstone project and how working with the capstone students can help their own organizations and tech development. They will hear from previous sponsors who have experience collaborating with the project as well as students who have worked on past projects. The session will delve into benefits of the project, which includes exploring real solutions to clinical needs, working on low-cost prototypes, and receiving support for beta-testing projects.
Info sessions such as this one will often utilize informational Brochures, which can be professionally printed at many local Print shops specializing in brochure printing.
The Capstone Info Session is scheduled for August 2 from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. M2D2 is located at 110 Canal Street, 4th Floor.
