Sweetly Lydia's and Roots & Spoon in Lowell will soon host a special confectionery how-to class this March, for foodies interested in learning how to make their own homemade marshmallows.
Sweetly Lydia's is a confectionery business that specializes in handcrafted chocolates, caramels, toffees, candy bars, marshmallows, and gift Boxes. The business was created after Lydia’s handcraft gift boxes of sweets for friends and family grew in popularity. Now, the company is run by veteran employee Shannon Arenburg, who keeps true to original recipes while also creating new, fun recipes.
The marshmallow-making demonstration will feature expert confectioners teaching attendees how to make fluffy marshmallows from scratch. During the hands-on demonstration, guests will learn about the history of the sugary treat, what ingredients go into them, and how versatile they can be to make and use in other recipes.
The unique flavors of marshmallows and how to add textures will be delved into, and participants will also be treated to a tasting session.
Unique demonstrations like this may often be advertised on Flyers that organizers can use to drum up attention for the event in different areas of their town and community. Print shops specializing in flyer printing can help in such endeavors.
The marshmallow class is scheduled for March 26 from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm. It will be held at 201 Market Street.Get a Free Quote for Flyers Get a Free Quote for Print Get a Free Quote for Boxes
