The Common Voice Community Choir Festival will take place in Lowell this November to bring together community choirs and their listeners in a day of harmony, music, and fellowship.
The choir festival will be presented by the University of Massachusetts Lowell and Allies in Music Education. The mission of the festival is to highlight the power of community choirs and immerse attendees in an experience of music making and community building.
For the choir members themselves, there will be dedicated workshops and presentations led by experienced choir leaders to help individuals elevate their choir experience and musical journeys. There will also be the AME Commission Consortium where collaboration with composers can lead to commissions of community-based choral works.
Attendees will have the chance to peek behind the scenes at open rehearsals that the choirs will offer. The evening concert will feature special guest performances and showcase the musical diversity of the New England region. The event will culminate in the Full Group Performance in which all participating choirs will join their voices together.
Brochures can be a useful advertising tool for organizers to promote a festival like this, and local brochure printing services can help with the printing portion.
The choir festival is scheduled for November 16 from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm. It will be held at the University of Massachusetts Lowell at Durgin Hall, located at 35 Wilder Street.Get a Free Quote for Brochures
