Lowell biomedical event to match students to employers

This November, the Student & Employer Mashup 2022 will take place in Lowell to help biomedical engineering students network with potential employers in the industry.

The event will be held by the Massachusetts Medical Device Development Center (M2D2) in collaboration with UMass Lowell's Biomedical Engineering Society (UML BMES). It is designed for current UMass Lowell Biomedical Engineering students, entrepreneurs in fields like biological therapy, biosensors, drug delivery, and medical device design, corporate partnerships and agencies looking to hire students for internships, co-opts, and job positions, as well as UMass Lowell Biomedical Engineering faculty members.

The conference will feature a welcome speech from M2D2 and UML BMES representatives. There will also be start-up and innovator panels, corporate partner talks, and federal and state government presentations. Students will also have the opportunity to share their own presentations and testimonials. Afterwards, there will be a networking session and lunch for all the attendees to get to know each other in a casual environment.

Events that involve giving presentations often involve Posters, poster boards, and similar printed materials, which can be printed at local Print shops specializing in poster printing.

The career event is scheduled for Friday, November 4 from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm. It will take place at UMass Lowell iHub, which is located on 110 Canal Street, 3rd Floor. Admission is free.
