The Four Tops and the Temptations will be packing the Lowell Memorial Auditorium full of soul later this year.
The Four Tops recorded their first hit, “Baby I Need Your Loving,” in 1964. The group rocketed to stardom, where they have remained, thanks to songs like “It's the Same Old Song,” and “I Can't Help Myself (Sugar Pie, Honey Bunch).”
A concert review says:
“ . . . the Four Tops . . . remind us of the great singer-songwriters, harmonies and just sheer talent that was abundant in the 1960s and 1970s.”
The Temptations were part of the “Motown machine” put together by the legendary record producer Berry Gordy. In 1964, they hit it big with “The Way You Do the Things You Do,” which was written and produced by Smokey Robinson. From then on, the smashes kept coming: “Ain't Too Proud to Beg,” “Get Ready,” the iconic “My Girl,” and more.

The Four Tops and the Temptations will appear November 17, from 7:30 pm until 10:30 pm. The groups were originally set to appear May 10, and those tickets will be honored. Poster printing can create exciting advertisements for events like this.
