The Greater Lowell Chamber of Commerce will join forces with the Merrimack Valley Food Bank (MVFB) to host a lunch mixer for Chamber members and potential members.
The Greater Lowell Chamber comprises over 300 organizations, businesses, and clubs that work together to provide events and services for the Lowell community. The lunch mixer will serve as an opportunity for Chamber members, potential members, and business professionals to network with each other. It will also allow attendees to learn more about the Merrimack Valley Food Bank and its work in the community.
Guests will also be able to tour the MVFB food bank and see firsthand how it runs. During the event, organizers will also be collecting snacks for MVFB's Children’s feeding program called the Operation Nourish Program. This program ensures that children in Greater Lowell schools have a steady supply of nutritious food when they are not in school. Examples of what the food bank is requesting include granola bars, oatmeal cups, rice cakes, fruit snacks, veggie chips, and cereal bowls.
Professional mixers create opportunities for attendees to network with each other, which may create a demand for business card printing services.
The Chamber’s lunch mixer is scheduled for June 23 from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm. It will take place at the Merrimack Valley Food Bank on 735 Broadway Street.
