World famous metal band to come to Foxborough

Heavy metal legends Metallica will be playing two shows at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough next summer.

For the M72 world tour, the band will play for two nights in each city on the schedule, featuring two entirely different sets and support performers at each show. The tour will also feature a new round stage design so that in center stage will be the famous Metallica Snake Pit. There will also be a new offer of discounted tickets for those under the age of 16 years old, and the full-tour pass named ‘I Disappear’ is available.

Tickets for the two-day shows are now on sale with an option of pre-ordering the band’s new album on CD or vinyl. Tickets for a single show will be made available on Friday, January 20. More information about such concerts and the purchasing of tickets can be provided with flyer printing.

A portion of the proceeds of every ticket sale will go towards the All Within My Hands (AWMH) foundation. AWMH was founded by Metallica in 2017 and endeavors to help and enrich the lives of those in the community who have supported the band. Since its founding, the organization has raised close to $13m and has provided grants to technical and career education, helped to combat food insecurity, and assisted with disaster relief funds around the world.

The band will be in Foxborough on Friday, August 2 and Sunday, August 4.
