Phoenix Theatres will be moving into Patriot Place in Foxborough and will be replacing Showcase Cinema De Lux.
Such locations can benefit from banner printing to inform residents, visitors, and shoppers of upcoming projects.
Phoenix Theatres plans to refurbish the theater, which spans 75,347 square feet and has 14 movie screens, with a multimillion-dollar investment. It plans to offer first class amenities and first-run movies. Features will be Dolby ATMOS immersive sound in every auditorium, 4K laser digital projection, and heated reclining seats.
President of Phoenix Theatres, Cory Jacobson, said that Phoenix was formed with the idea of renovating closed-down theaters in good locations and bringing well-run neighborhood theaters back to their respective communities. He expressed his thrill that his company will be part of Patriot Place, adding that the great mix of dining, retail, hospitality, and entertainment makes Patriot Place a preeminent destination that should have a first-rate movie theater.
The vice president and general manager of Patriot Place, Brian Earley, also expressed his excitement to be working with Phoenix Theatres to bring a premier theater experience to the location. He said Patriot Place is committed to creating a memorable moviegoing experience at family-friendly prices, and is looking forward to welcoming Phoenix next year.
Renovations are expected to begin in early 2026 with plans to open next summer.
