Special train service to be offered for concerts in Foxborough

Several upcoming concerts at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough will benefit from round-trip special event train service.

The service will be provided by the MBTA from both Providence and Boston for the Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band show, and from only Boston for the Karol G show next month. The MBTA will also be providing this service for the Billy Joel and Stevie Nicks show.

The special event train from Providence will leave from the station and make three stops before arriving at the stadium in Foxboro. The train from Boston will depart from South Station and will make two stops before arriving in Foxboro. Each special event train is expected to arrive in Foxborough about an hour before the start of each show and will depart about 30 minutes after each show.

Schedules for such trains are often made available with flyer printing and other printing services.

The cost for a round-trip ticket is $20. Tickets will be available for purchase only on the mTicket app two weeks prior to each performance. Regular commuter rail passes and tickets will not be valid for these special event trains.

The Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band show will be on Thursday August 24 at 7:30 p.m.; the Billy Joel show will be on Saturday September 23; and the Karol G show will be on Thursday September 28.
