Several events are to take place in the upcoming weeks in Foxboro, and most likely the respective organizations are turning to flyer printing and poster printing to encourage the community to attend and enjoy them.
Starting on Saturday, May 24, the New England Revolution will start their soccer season with a bobblehead night, featuring Slyde the Fox, the team’s mascot. He will be in his Revs Apparel with his bushy tail and pointy ears, cheering the team from the sidelines against D.C. United. Later in the summer, Kelyn Rowe and Andrew Farrell will also be making their debuts with their respective bobbleheads to be sold at the June 26 and August 16 home games.
On the same day, the Foxboro VFW Post 2626 and Knockout Haircuts for Men will be providing $20 haircuts to men by salon stylists. with proceeds benefiting the Foxboro VFW Post 2626 Scholarship and Charity Fund. While people are waiting for their haircuts, there will be a prize wheel, refreshments, and a raffle.
Each year, the Post holds a fundraiser, which is usually a golf tournament, and decided to do something creative this year to build monies for its scholarship fund. Graduating seniors can write an essay and submit it to the Post, and one senior will be chosen to receive a $1,000 scholarship for college tuition and expenses.Get a Free Quote for Apparel
