Outdoor pickleball courts open in Foxborough
A new outdoor facility that has six professional pickleball courts is now open in Foxborough.
The facility spans 17,000 square feet and is on what was once a parking lot in the South Marketplace of Patriot Place, across from ELEVENO and Trader Joe’s. The outdoor courts are a joint venture between ELEVENO and Patriot Place.
Those who are interested in reserving one of the courts can now do so online. Open play is available in the morning from 8:00 am to noon, and in the afternoon from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
Throughout the outdoor playing season, ELEVENO says it plans to host special events such as training and tournaments. At the end of October, the facility will close in order to become the annual Winter Skate ice rink at the shopping center.

Patriot Place and ELEVENO are also planning to build a new indoor pickleball field spanning 40,000 square feet. It will have a private event space, nine professional courts, courtside seating, a pro shop, and a food and beverage area. The expected opening of this facility is this fall.
Patriot Place features a range of both small and large retailers, along with 27 restaurants and venues for nightlife. It is open from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm Monday to Saturday, closing a little earlier on Sundays.
