The Marilyn Rodman Performing Arts Center (MRPAC) in Foxborough will be presenting several special shows for the holiday season.
Firstly, there will be a film screening of The Polar Express on Saturday, November 25 at 3:00pm.
The second annual Jingle Bell Band Bash follows that, showcasing rockstar talent from the local area and enabling the audience a chance to vote on their favorite performer. A $500 donation will be awarded by the MRPAC to the winner to the charity of their choice. Ticket prices are currently set at $20, with proceeds going to support the Community Access Fund of the MRPAC. The center subsidizes rental fees for community organizations, provides access to individuals and families to attend shows, and supports local opportunities in the performing arts for youth development.
This show will be at 7:00pm on Saturday, December 9. Such shows and their fundraising efforts are often promoted throughout a community and surrounding neighborhoods with poster printing.
Finally, there will be a musical adaptation of Charles Dickens’ story A Christmas Carol. This show promises lavish scenery, professional costumes, and show-stopping production numbers. The MRPAC is presenting this show in conjunction with Emerald City Theatrical. Ticket prices are between $22 and $26, and shows will be at 7:30pm on Thursday, December 21, Friday, December 22, and Saturday, December 23. There will be a matinee at 1:00pm for the Saturday showing.
