Several events will be taking place at the Senior Center in Foxborough in the next few weeks.
Poster printing is often used throughout town to promote such events to seniors and residents.
Paige Duncan, the town manager of Foxborough, will be holding a question-and-answer session along with coffee to keep everyone current with activities in town. This is an informal gathering for information and conversation and will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday August 26.
There will also be an End of Summer Luau. There will be music as well a meal of Hawaiian rolls and macaroni salad, and choice of pineapple grilled chicken or Hawaiian pulled pork for the entrée, and dessert. The cost is $7.00 per person and attendees are encouraged to dress in Hawaiian style attire. This event will be at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday August 28.
“Crustaceans on The Foxboro Common” will feature a lobster roll dinner. The Gainsville Road Band will be performing. The cost is $15.00 per person. This will be on Thursday September 5 from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.
The Fish and Game Barbeque is run by the Foxboro Fish and Game Association and open only to residents of Foxborough 60 years of age and older. A free lunch will be provided. This will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday September 7.
