Foxborough affordable senior housing open for applications
The application period for Building 2 at Walnut Knoll in Foxborough is now open.
This is an affordable housing community for seniors that has been specifically designed for those 55 years of age and older and was the result of a collaboration among Onyx Group Development, the Peabody Companies, and Affordable Housing and Services Collaborative, Inc.
Walnut Knoll is at the corner of Route 149 and has a lifestyle-driven design blended with quality housing. Building 2 has 80 apartments that have recently been built and is part of a community where residents can stay engaged, connected, and active.
Each apartment features oversize closets, spacious layouts, vinyl plank flooring throughout, and kitchens with all required appliances and Shaker cabinetry. All utilities are included in the monthly rent including cable readiness and high-speed Internet.
Among the amenities are a modern fitness center and pickleball court; a community garden; 24-hour emergency maintenance and on-site professional management; spacious meeting rooms; outdoor grilling areas and fire pit with lounge seating; and activities and programs designed to enrich daily living and foster friendships.
