Labor Day Weekend will be see activities and entertainment available for the whole family at Patriot Place in Foxboro.
Banner printing is one way that the community can learn of these events and plan for a special weekend to end the summer.
There will be free activities that include sidewalk chalk, bounce houses, and appearances by mascot Pat Patriot alongside cheerleaders. The shopping will be endless, and consumers will be able to find all their back-to-school necessities.
Live entertainment will add to the festivities. The artists that are scheduled to appear over the weekend are Andrew Smith with pop and jazz music; Howl at the Moon Entertainers with their unique entertainment, in which the audience directs the show with its song requests; Adam Rice, a guitarist; and The Grand Central, a six-piece band whose music, according to critics gets, the audience into a dancing mood.
Other special activities will include a Touch-A-Truck display; the balloon artist of Patriot Place creating animals, hats and everything in between; Mona, the Henna artist of Patriot Place, making henna tattoo designs; and a caricature artist drawing visitors’ personal tattoos.
On the evening of the Friday (August 29th) a fireworks spectacular that is set to last more than 20 minutes is planned, with a musical accompaniment available to those who tune into Dean College Radio.
