The Splitsville and Howl at the Moon in Patriots Place in Foxboro will be the host for the upcoming Cupcakes for Heroes event, which is presented by Hero Helpers of America.
During the event, attendees will decorate and frost 3,000 cupcakes that will be delivered to shelters for homeless veterans throughout the region. They will also be delivered by hand to veterans within the town of Foxboro.
In addition, people can make cards for veterans who will be at Veterans Administration hospitals during the holiday season.
Bowling will be free but it is suggested that a donation be made to Hero Helpers of America.
There will also be raffle items, arts and crafts, and special guest appearances, including one from Santa Claus himself. The media sponsor for the event is 90.1 FM.
Hero Helpers of America is an organization that provides support to veterans and members of the United States military and also aims to raise awareness of the needs of the military, PSTD, and its effects on those who have served.
