Solar conference to be held in Devens

The Solar Conference will be taking place for the ninth consecutive year at the Devens Commons Center next month.

There will be new products, hands-on training, and leading vendors from the renewable and solar energy industry at the conference, with exhibitors showcasing their products and services for two days. Attendees often like to have flyers and other printed materials which such exhibitors provide and are created by local print shops.

There will be training and continuing education sessions for installers of solar products, with over 30 different breakout sessions that will offer opportunities for learning new techniques and seeing the latest products. An Advanced track on the National Electric Code for 2020 will qualify attendees for six hours of NABCEP Continuing Education credits.

A Beginners Track will also be offered for installers who are new to solar energy. To be presented by altE, the track will cover valuable principles about the components in grid tie solar systems; how to calculate the size of the equipment needed for off-grid solar, grid tie solar, and grid tied solar systems with battery backup; and ensuring an installation that complies with code.

There will also be networking opportunities for installers to share ideas and information regarding business best practices, and ways to increase and expand business profits.

The conference will run from Monday, February 24 through Wednesday, February 26.
