What's Happening in Devens, MA…

New restaurant opens in Leominster

Leominster recently welcomed Brady’s Restaurant, whose opening has been followed by food and wine aficionados in the area. Residents of Devens will want to try out the food prepared by this award-winning restaurateur.

Flyer printing is often used to inform the community of such special openings.

The building in which the restaurant is located was originally the Plymouth Furniture Store in the 1800s and later became home to the post office, a pool hall and bowling alley, and lastly J.C. Fenwick’s, a pub. Bill Brady owns the restaurant with his wife Kim. Bill is the executive chef, working with the kitchen crew, and Kim is the host.

The dining area has been renovated to be more modern, with a granite bar for 20 people. The tables are handmade with wood from the old Leominster High School. On the walls are black and white vintage photos in the restaurant of the city of Leominster and its people and buildings. There is a granite bar and fireplace in the function room and its décor is warm and friendly.

The menu is designed to accommodate a wide range of tastes from a quarter-pound burger ground in-house on an English muffin to bone-in filet mignon. There are gluten-free choices and options for half-portions. The pasta is also made in-house and the wine selection will appeal to various price points and tastes.
