Sweet Baby Butter Leaf, a new lettuce variety, has been launched by Little Leaf Farms of Devens.
This new variety features a tender but crisp texture and a sweet flavor. Consumer tests of the product revealed that it was liked the best as compared to other products made by the company.
Associate Brand Manager at Little Leaf Farms, Carina Young, said that Sweet Baby Butter Leaf will be beneficial for our product line given this balance of tenderness, crispness, and sweetness. Young added that this lettuce can be added to lettuce wraps or used in sandwiches, making it highly versatile. It is also available throughout the year.
