Medical manufacturing company expands in Devens
Pacer Partners, Drake Real Estate Partners, and Artemis Real Estate Partners have recently formed an ownership group to renew a lease and expand the 247,060 square feet which is occupied by Nypro Inc., at an industrial property in Devens.
The size of the entire property is just over 402,000 square feet, sitting on 23 acres of land, and is a manufacturing facility in the Devens Industrial Park. The park itself is two miles north of Route 2 and four miles west of Interstate 495 and is about 45 miles from Boston.
The facility was completed in 2010 for Evergreen Solar as its headquarters. At the time, Evergreen Solar was one the biggest producers of solar panels in the United States. Increasing competition from cheaper producers based in Europe and Asia forced the company to file for bankruptcy and shift production to China. It sold the building in 2015 for $36 million.
Banner printing can be used to inform other businesses in such master-planned complexes about the expansion of other companies and their openings and achievements.
J.R. McDonald, an executive managing director from the ownership group, said that this move by Nypro demonstrates the excellent value and infrastructure which the property has to offer. It also shows how committed the company is to remain in Devens and reveals its strong core business values.
