Numerous events are planned for children during the month of October at the Harvard Public Library, which is in a neighboring town of Devens, with everything from magic to storytelling and craft sessions to keep the kids entertained.
Tomorrow, the Lego Club will be held from 2:30 pm to 3:45 pm for children ages five and older. Children and their parents are invited to join in the fun and build their creations with other fans of Legos in the community. Parents can assist with supervision.
Also tomorrow, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, Ariel Dwyer will be running a program that integrate literacy and art for grades two through four as her senior project. She will be using Gerald McDermott’s book ‘Anansi the Spider’ as a basis for children to make decorate their own arachnids.
On October 22, beginning at 1:30 pm, Mike Bent will be presenting an exciting and fun magic show, AbraKidabra! Bent has been entertaining audiences for 20 years and combines magic with comedy. AbraKidabra! is a state-of-the-art interactive magic show and experience written especially for children.
