Devens to host annual day for families and dogs

The annual Devens Dog and Craft Festival will be taking place next weekend.

Set to be held at Memorial Field in Museum Park on Antietam Street, this festival will be a day of food and beverages, craft vendors, live music, and storytelling. Attendees can bring their dogs and engage them in trick or treating and a variety of fun games. Everyone can dress up in their best Halloween costumes, with a contest for both humans and dogs. There will also be a hospitality tent for those over the age of 21.

There is no fee to attend the festival and parking is also available at no charge. Dogs need to be on a leash and should be up to date on their vaccinations, with proof of them required at the entrance.

All proceeds of the festival will benefit the Service Dog Program of Clear Path for Veterans. This program works with veterans who have traumatic brain injuries, military sexual trauma, and post-traumatic stress disorders, helping them in leading a normal life, finding work, spending time with their families, and being productive members of the community.

Banner printing is often used to promote such family-friendly events and their fundraising efforts.

The Devens Dog and Craft Festival will be held from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm next Saturday, October 28.
