Company to expand with new center in Littleton

A Technical Competence Center (TCC) for Functional Safety (FS) will be built by TÜV Rheinland in Littleton at its Product Safety Excellence Center. This may be of interest to those in Devens, as it may add jobs in the area.

Local Field Manager Functional Safety and Cybersecurity at TÜV Rheinland in North America, Matthias Haynl, said that the FS market is expected to shoot up by more than $5.6m by 2026. He added that the Functional Safety Technical Competence Center of the company in Pleasanton, California has been highly successful, and he expects the market to grow in the Boston area. He said that this new Functional Safety TCC will enable the company to better support its customers on the East Coast and deliver a more complete service portfolio, and better customer service. Poster printing companies can be hired to create eye-catching publications to promote such new facilities and their services.

Applications for FS include machine learning, artificial intelligence, and deep learning. The service portfolio of TÜV Rheinland consists of certification and assessment of actuators, sensors, controllers, and similar products. These products are used primarily in refineries, cars, machines and production plants. TÜV Rheinland also offers multiday training courses about FS standards for the automotive sector, the proves industry, machine builders, and product manufacturers, after which attendees receives the FS Engineer certificate.
