The 25th annual Boston Wine Expo will be held over two days next month.
There are expected to be more than 200 local and international wineries represented at this event, with each providing samples and tasting events.
Guests can take part in one grand tasting each day, or watch celebrity chefs preparing food on two cooking stages. There will also be educational seminars on various wines, cheeses, and growing areas; fees for these seminars will range in price from $40 up to $125, and most will involve tastings.
Several ticket variations are available. The Silver Anniversary ticket is $250 and includes admission to both grand tastings, a souvenir glass, a meet and greet with members of the Boston Guild of Oenophilists, and three seminars. The VIP ticket offers a champagne toast, one grand tasting, and a souvenir wine glass for $139.
In addition to public hours, there will be two hours set aside exclusively for those in the trade.
This event will attract visitors from all over the area, including those from nearby Burlington. To help spread the word, local poster printing companies may be asked to provide advertising products.
The event will take place at the Seaport Hotel and World Trade Center from February 13 to 14. Industry hours are from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm and public hours are from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm. A weekend pass costs $149. Call 877-946-3976 to learn more.
