This event is free and in person and combines meaningful impact in the fight against breast cancer with expert bra fittings. For each guest who gets a fitting and purchases a b.tempt’d or Wacoal bra at the event, Wacoal will donate $5,00 to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, which supports patient services, research on breast cancer, and important education programs.
Wacoal has partnered with the Foundation for 25 years and this partnership has helped to ensure that those facing breast cancer have access to the support, resources, and education they need. All the donations from Wacoal support the direct patient services of the Foundation, and include the Patient Care Center, which provides access to financial assistance, breast health services, information on clinical trials, and education.
Those who might be overdue for a fitting, looking for something new for their top drawer, or seeking a meaningful way to give back are encouraged to attend. Attendees are also encouraged to bring friends, sisters, daughters and neighbors to the event.
Such events and their charitable efforts can be promoted throughout a town and neighboring communities with poster printing.
The Fit for the Cure event will be held beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Macy’s in the Burlington Mall on Tuesday April 28.
