Celebrate Burlington will be held next month, hosted by Burlington Parks and Recreation.
The event will feature performers and activities, and will be on the Burlington Town Common. It promises to be a day filled with fun that will run from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm, followed by a classic car show from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The evening will feature a concert at the bandstand at 7:00 pm and fireworks at 9:00 pm.
This is the largest single-day event in the town, drawing a typical attendance of around 8,000 people.
Celebrate Burlington is looking for businesses and organizations to sponsor the event. Those who contribute under $600 will get an ad in the newspaper and other promotional materials. A bronze sponsor who contributes over $600 will also have a table for the entire event and two VIP lunch tickets.
Silver sponsors are those who contribute $1,200 or more and they also receive four lunch tickets and banner printing on the bandstand. A gold sponsor donates $2,500 or more and receives their name on an event T-shirt and six VIP lunch tickets. Platinum sponsors are those who donate $5,000 or more and they become sponsors of the fireworks, in addition to claiming all previous promotional materials.
This event will be on Saturday, August 8.
