Smith & Wollensky is now open in Burlington. It is on Middlesex Turnpike in what was once a Del Frisco’s Grille, before this closed in October 2019.
Smith & Wollensky offers a high-end dining experience. It has dining rooms on two levels, a large bar in a horseshoe shape, an indoor-outdoor bar on the upper level, and outdoor dining on the patio on both levels. The menu features premium seafood, USDA prime-aged steaks, and signature beverages. News about such eateries is often made known throughout the community with flyer printing.
Originally, PPX Hospitality Brands was planning to open a Strega Italiano restaurant in the space. However, PPX, which is the parent company for both Smith & Wollensky and Strega, said that it later decided a better fit would be Smith & Wollensky because the previous eatery in the space was set up as a steakhouse.
Steve Gledhill, general manager of PPX, expressed his thrill in growing the brand and establishing a presence in Burlington. He added that this establishment will enable the company to connect with the thriving residential community and local businesses, and to forge long-lasting relationships with both of these audiences.
The hours for Smith & Wollensky are from 11:30 am to 10:00 pm Sunday through Thursday, and 11:30 am to 11:00 pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
