Kings, Wegman’s, and The Bancroft will soon be joined the Archer Hotel brand on Third Avenue in Burlington.
The Archer Hotel brand prides itself on being a boutique hotel and bringing upscale amenities to any area in which it is located. Senior vice president of brands and marketing at LodgeWorks Partners L.P., Cheryl Gilliam, said that sophisticated travelers who have been attracted to Archer in Manhattan, and Austin are also looking for the personalized experience and distinctive style in the suburbs of Boston, such as Burlington.
Although the atmosphere in Burlington is different from that of Midtown Manhattan and the other cities in which Archer hotels are to be found, Gilliam said the company sees the various shops and restaurants along Third Avenue as contributing to creating a vibrant town center, meaning guests have sense of walkability to the many retail and other options in the area.
Among the amenities at the hotel, which will have 147 guest rooms and suites, will be an indoor pool, a patio, a fitness studio, and a cocktail bar. The opening date of the hotel is sometime in 2018.
The Archer Hotel concept was created by LodgeWorks Partners L.P., a hotel management company based in Kansas.
