The inaugural Hospital at Home program has been launched by Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH) in Burlington. This program will provide care at an inpatient level for patients in their own homes.
There will be 24-hours-a-day, seven-days-a-week access for patients to their care team, with a combination of telehealth and in-person visits. All the technological equipment will be provided to patients so they can monitor their vital Signs, and these will include a computer tablet for video visits and a telephone for direct connections with their providers. Ultrasounds, x-rays, IV therapies, and lab tests will also be performed in the home.
Brochure printing is often used to provide potential patients with more information about eligibility and services offered.
Executive Vice President for Hospital and Ambulatory Services at BILH, Michael Rowan, said that the Hospital at Home program will enable patients to have the same high-quality care at home that they would receive in the hospital. He added that this service enables patients to recover in their own homes with seamless and direct access to their providers.
Vice President of BILH Hospital at Home, Susan Stempek, said that this new service will enable the hospital to deliver more care at home. She added that such programs have shown patients to have improved recovery times and will be a unique way to change the way patient care is provided.Get a Free Quote for Signs
