Yas Chicken, a restaurant that specializes in fried chicken, will be opening in Burlington. It will be on Middlesex Turnpike at what was once occupied by Qdoba Mexican Grill.
A special planning permit is being sought by the restaurant. Yas Chicken is proposing to work with the existing infrastructure and layout of the space, while limiting the scope of the work to interior aesthetic changes that will include painting and décor of the brand, installing new light fixtures, and upgrading the tables, chairs, and seating areas.
Yas Chicken serves a wide range of chicken sandwiches, from its classic options of the Yas O.G’, which the eatery’s original chicken sandwich with lettuce, pickles, and homemade mayonnaise, to the Mac Zaddy, which is a spicy fired chicken with a garlic glaze and macaroni and cheese. Other specialties of the restaurant include chicken and waffles, a Korean corn dog, and Yas Bites Nuggets made with all white meat and seasoned with its special spices.
Among its side dish specialties are tater tots with parmesan and truffle oil and French fries. Yas Chicken makes all its sauces in-house. Local Print shops can help such new eateries promote their unique cuisine with Flyers and mailers that can be distributed throughout a town and its surrounding communities.
There are currently locations of Yas Chicken in Lynn, Lawrence, and Providence, Rhode Island.
