Jo Hoppe, a former resident of Acton now living in New Hampshire, recently opened an O Bag store in the Burlington Mall.
According to Hoppe, who discovered the store while vacationing in Italy last year, customers create personalized Bags while they are in the store and walk out with them. They can select the bag style and color, the type of handles and their fabric, and then either a solid or Print liner. All the components are interchangeable so that one bag can be reconfigured with different accents and handles to match varying occasions and wardrobes. The Bags are made of ethylene-vinyl acetate and are durable yet soft.
This is a new concept for the United States, although the concept has been in major cities in Europe since 2007.
The store also offers O Clocks where customers can select from more than 130 watch faces in a wide range of designs and styles, then pair them with their choice of watchband color.
Hoppe added that opening this kind of store enabled her to reinvent herself, giving her new energy and different perspective, as she has always had careers that have been ‘left brain’ oriented.
She might benefit from the assistance of a local printing company to create a brochure as a product guide to the many options for the Bags and watches.Get a Free Quote for Print Get a Free Quote for Bags
