For several years, tenants have been in flux in Burlington’s Crossroads Plaza, and now another move has been announced. Recently, the planning board approved the request of pharmacy CVS to move across the plaza.
CVS will take over a space that comprises 12,500 square feet, and was once home to Busa Liquors, which left the premises earlier in the year. The mix of tenants in the plaza has been changing for the last few years. In 2017, Roche Brothers said it would close its plaza store, and a brewpub that had been planning to move into a former Outback Steakhouse changed its mind. A mini-Target will be taking over the space occupied by Roche Brothers. When new businesses’ such as this open a location, they will need Letterheads to reflect the correct address.
Previous changes at the plaza included the Pure Hockey takeover of the Bauer Hockey store. The acquisition was made with the idea that Pure Hockey would close the Crossroads store and merge that operation with the one already operating in Burlington, on Middlesex Turnpike. Bauer closed only a few months after Roche Brothers shut its doors.
Pure Hockey bought not only the Crossroads Plaza Bauer store, but another Bauer location in Bloomington, Minnesota. Pure Hockey will leave the Bloomington store as is, where it will be an exclusive Bauer dealer. The Burlington store and the Minnesota location will join Pure Hockey’s chain of 53 locations, but will continue to be exclusive retailers for Bauer.Get a Free Quote for Letterheads
