An event designed to help those using Microsoft Teams, or who are curious about it, has been scheduled for Burlington.
Teams is an app that enables people to host meetings online with anyone, in real time. The system can handle events of any size, from company-wide presentations to webinars, large meetings, and events with as many as 10,000 attendees.
Since the app is so extensive, Microsoft Teams information workers, developers, and architects from New England are taking part in a Teams Thursday, an ongoing event (although this meeting is on a Wednesday). Attendees will be able to talk to Microsoft employees, other Microsoft Teams professionals, and Microsoft’s MVPs (Most Valued Professionals). The event is open to members of the public, and there is no admission charge.
Once an interested party registers, they can choose either a ticket as a General Attendee, or register specifically for one of the Customer Immersion Experience (CIE) sessions, which will take place throughout the event. People who choose the CIE option will be allowed to attend all the sessions. However, since each CIE session has a limit of 11 attendees, anyone who wants to attend a specific session should register soon.
At this time, the event is scheduled for June 3, from 8:00 am until 6:00 pm, at the Microsoft Technology Center on Wayside Road in Burlington. Interested parties should check with the venue in case of further schedule changes. Flyer printing can be used to provide handouts for events like this.
