The amaryllis blooms, which are also known to some as belladonna flowers, are a popular plant for the holiday season, and a Burlington workshop will introduce their culture and care.
The Vintage Garden will be offering the public an opportunity to learn all about amaryllises when they take part in the activity, for which masks are required. The planners have arranged the function so that it will be as fun as it is educational, and there is enough space for up to 20 learners.
The registration fee for the class is $105, and it is open to individuals, families and groups of friends. During the two hours, the attendees will pot their amaryllis bulb so that it makes an attractive holiday arrangement, and they will also be taught how, once the flowers have been spent and the leaves died, they can “put it to bed” so it may be regrown for next winter.
Businesses often choose to host special activities during the holiday season, and a poster printing company will have an assortment of cost-effective ways of promoting these to the public. The customized marketing materials may be posted in various locations to let people know the specifics.
The Vintage Garden will offer this session on December 4. The venue can be found at 61 Thayer Street in Boston.
